About

Richard Huw
Meet Richard Huw, a seasoned professional actor who graduated from The Guildhall School of Music and Drama and who has been captivating theatre, film and television audiences ever since. He has been part of the illustrious BBC Radio Repertory Company and has also performed on theatre stages all over the UK. In his early days, Richard donned the tights as Peter Pan at the Bristol Old Vic and stole hearts as Romeo at London’s Young Vic.
While Richard enjoyed the spotlight in the theatre world he found his true calling on the small screen. You’ve probably seen him in hit television series like Silent Witness, Van Der Valk, and M.I.T. as well as playing characters in legendary UK shows such as Eastenders, Coronation Street, The Bill, Casualty, Doctors, Heartbeat, Foyle’s War, Holby City, and Midsomer Murders – yes, he’s practically a walking British TV encyclopedia!
And if you thought his talents ended there, think again! Richard has shared the big screen with stars like Ewan McGregor, Bill Nighy, Stephen Fry, Jimmy Carr, Alicia Silverstone, Robbie Coltrane, Damian Lewis and Mickey Rourke in the feature film Stormbreaker while also mentoring the film’s young star Alex Pettyfer as his acting coach. Talk about multitasking!
Richard Huw is also a voice-over wizard lending his voice to numerous documentaries as well as television and radio commercials. If you’ve heard a soothing voice narrating your favourite program it might just be him!
As if that weren’t enough, Richard is a co-founder and director of DramaLab.co.uk which launched in the year 2000. He loves directing acting workshops whenever he can squeeze them into his busy acting schedule.
So why not swing by Theatre 62 in West Wickham to meet Richard Huw and dive into the DramaLab experience – because who wouldn’t want to hang out with this talented guy? It’s bound to be a fun time filled with laughter and creativity so don’t miss out! Come join in the excitement and love the drama with Richard!
